The Yonex Dutch Open is an important international badminton event organized under the auspices of the Badminton World Federation. Results will count towards the world rankings against which players will qualify for the Olympics.

The badminton event in Almere is one of the most important badminton events in Europe, together with the All England in Birmingham, the French Open, the Danish Open, the German Open and the Swiss Open. The Yonex Dutch Open is one of the Grand Prix circuit tournaments. The event attracts 5,000 visitors annually. We want to double this number in the coming years. Millions of households all over the world have watched the matches of the Yonex Dutch Open 2019 through agreements with various media parties.
